Red Nose Day (To End Child Poverty)

The money raised to help several charities that help end child poverty. 100% of the money for the noses, wrist band, like the one I have on in that picture and a pin they sell go to this Red Nose Day Fund.

“Americans of all ages will have lots of new ways to come together and get involved — including our five new Red Noses, by making it fun to make a difference we really hope to unite the nation, and in doing so help millions of children here at home and around the world.”

Janet Scardino, CEO of Comic Relief USA

Since their debut in 2015, they have raised nearly $150 million and have positively impacted over 16 million children in America, and around the world.

Red Nose Day 2020 was not be like any of the prior ones. They did not make or do red noses like normal due to COVID-19 Coronavirus Pandemic. They only have the bracelets and also giving a $1 off Red Box with $1 Donation. But, if you are creative, you could make a face mask and maybe iron on the red nose day logo or a red nose on one. Or some other creative way!

In 2021, this day is on Thursday, May 27.

2021, I saw digital red noses, no clue if they will sell the red noses again or have face masks with red noses. I will update this post if I learn more!

So get the family together and go nose to nose with the red nose! Have some fun. Maybe even raise money for this fund. Make sure to post to social media and use the current years hashtags.

Red Nose Day is inviting everyone to go Nose to Nose. It is the simple act of two people touching Red Noses in a fun, light way, to create shareable social content while encouraging donations for the cause. Buy two noses at Walgreens, go Nose to Nose, and snap a selfie or video. Share it with the hashtag #GONOSETONOSE then make a donation at rednoseday.org. Challenge your friends to do the same. It’s a fun and easy way to participate.
